Jagadishwar Sukumar is a Bharatanatyam practitioner based in Bengaluru, currently training under Smt. Ramaa Venugopalan. With over two decades of experience in the performing arts, he brings both deep classical grounding and a rigorous scholarly approach to his work. His interest in music extends into composition and writing, and he has composed original music and penned lyrics for dance productions such as Bhaumi, Ayati and Neyam. His understanding of both movement and music allows him to approach performance-making holistically, creating works where rhythm, melody, poetry, and expression come together seamlessly.

He has performed at prestigious platforms including Krishna Gana Sabha, Soorya Dance Festival, and Tapas Natyotsava, and has trained additionally in Kuchipudi and Indian Contemporary Dance at Attakkalari.

Professionally, Jagadishwar is also a Chemistry and Biology educator, balancing his academic and artistic pursuits with equal dedication. His experience as a teacher has enriched his approach to performance, enabling him to present complex ideas with clarity and engage diverse audiences through meaningful artistic experiences

Jagadishwar's artistic journey also extends to theatre and cinema. His stage credits include notable productions such as the IFA-supported play Shiva, Hello Tension, and Soupaan. As an actor, he has received appreciation for his performances in the feature film Aachar & Co, produced by PRK Productions, as well as the Malayalam short film Kaathaloram.
